It was 1875, Queen Victoria was on the throne, the Pleasure Beach (1909) was just sand, Frederick Henry Cox opened his first shop. Now, 150 years later our family-owned and managed business is one of Great Yarmouth’s oldest retailers in the town. Trading in the same shop by the current generation of the Cox family.
Our techniques and methods are always evolving, with new technology being introduced, but our dedication and traditional service to our customer, has never changed.
Over the years, we have outgrown the original plot at 3 Northgate Street, and expanded into the adjacent buildings, 4,5 and 6 Northgate Street. We have had several refurbishments and now feel that we have the right atmosphere to offer the best shopping experience.
